Stone rose eggs part3

Slowly is the time to show the next group of decoupage eggs as they are all already totally dried and ready to pack into boxes and being send to my friends. But... they are so different style than other decu crazy people eggs I mean aren't happy rather serious they look like... but let's see what you think about them... ;) The style of a thing in a stone, rock and very natural looking way is the closest to me nowadays I see between it old and stylish furniture, yes this is the style coming from my heart and these eggs are based on a feeling little Roman and Greek style, little rough but how warm and natural looking...

Sorry for the picture done at the artificial light but I could not put the plate other place. But I could make a picture about each kind of eggs at natural light close to the window to give you a little sample of the natural colours of this style of eggs. As you can easy notice there are three main colours used, antique gold, cream and ecru. I used the light and the dark antique gold colour, using lighter on the back of some of eggs to make it so natural looking and not so dark . All is done by acrylic contour and acrylic paints, liquid patina and a matt kind of varnish is used as well.
The first ones are called by me a sheep ones. As you can see it's back in the next picture seems to be so curly one. There is no the same looking egg as you can see I was trying to join those three colours the best I could.

The next ones are my favourite ones, specially the lightest in the middle one. While making the frame of a centred rose I was trying to make sth as delicate as the crochet is. It is successful more or less.

These ones are richer in the contour at it's back. And cos of it are the heaviest that's why probably will be just standing eggs.

And the last group of rose stony eggs are decorated by the simplest frame with coloured back to gold in case aren't all gold.

And at the really end there are two angelic eggs which made me trying to find out some base to their hands... I was trying to keep the antique style here as well...

Let me know pls, if you enjoy or what would you do other way?
Thank you all for comments and being interested in under two last posts about my eggs I hope you will enjoy that group of decoupage eggs too.

...to be continued.

Warm greetings to all my visitors,

  2. Świetne pisanki, takie oryginalne i pewnie pracochłonne, ale dla takiego efektu warto. Pozdrawiam :)
